A Healthy Way of Life – Part 2

1) Lack of effective medical drugs. This problem’s resolution is halted by pharmaceutical companies, which are not interested in having cheap and fast-acting drugs on the market. However, even the appearance of new medical drugs that can cure diseases quickly would not alleviate the problem. Nature reacts to this by introducing new lethal viruses. The environment is becoming more aggressive to man. It’s becoming clear that the human mind is engaged in a continual game against nature, and nature is always one step ahead.

2. Lack of government financial resources. Money enables us to develop disease prevention programs, improve work conditions, enjoy valuable rest and health restoration, and implement other social projects aimed at illness prevention. The government should help improve people’s living and economic conditions, which will decrease the prevalence of disease. At the same time, money alone is insufficient to resolve this problem. Russia’s gold supply today exceeds all indexes of previous years, and its oil dollars, the main source of state income, are abundant. Nevertheless, this affluence does not exert a sufficient influence on the population’s health.

Human history plainly shows that scientific development and economic prosperity cannot give us the desired results. The problem remains and grows keener, more pressing with each passing day. Therefore, it is logical to suppose that the crisis is caused by something that is concealed from us.

The world is experiencing an anthropological catastrophe that infringes on all dimensions of human life. Its symptoms are a swiftly developing “global pathology” and lack of harmony between the global industry and the biosphere. Kazancheyev calls this system of imperatives “nature’s dictatorship.” Nature responds to the lack of harmony by toughening its hold on humanity: limiting resources and energy use, and increasing the frequency of mass diseases. It brings new, unknown etiology into play, such as AIDS. According to different estimates, future spread of AIDS can have catastrophic consequences. This global pathology is an indication of the lack of harmony that emerged by the end of the 20th century. The remainder of this article articulates the logical conclusions made by looking at the negative health transformation through the lens of universal harmony and lack thereof.

Global harmony is a complex notion. More and more, it is becoming synonymous with harmony in “man’s world,” with the spiritual, informational and cultural realms of man’s life.
