Usually the major reasons why people go to the gym are to improve fitness, shape/tone, strength, size, vascularity, etc… Working out has become very specialized and specific to peoples’ goals and desire to achieve a certain image or level of fitness.
One of the most elusive goals is the prized “Six Pack Abs”. It looks GREAT and is the trademark of a healthy fit physique. It’s no wonder why so many people spend countless hours slaving in the gym to attain this.
Unfortunately, a lot of people are met with frustration and discouragement as the six pack doesn’t come as easy or as perfectly as the image they initially created in their mind.
It is easy to lose motivation when you’re not seeing the results and your workout plan or exercise regime is not working as you hoped.
But don’t give up just yet. I can guarantee you that your technique or perception of perfect ABS are much more within your reach than you think.
Science has proven a specific precise technique which has proven to produce dramatic results VERY QUICKLY if applied correctly and on a consistent basis.
If you can master just some of these scientific principles you will start seeing some MEASUREABLE results, and you can take joy in the fact knowing you are NOT Wasting a minute of your time in the gym!
Here are 3 simple techniques to follow which will have you seeing noticeable changes quickly:
1. You must burn fat and build muscle. Yes, this sounds like a simple concept, but you need to understand that the most effective way to do this is by working your largest muscles, and doing bicycle crunches.
So, if you can incorporate SQUATS, DEADLIFTS, and BICYCLE CRUNCHES regularly in your workouts, you will develop a strong back muscle, and strong core which is essential for amazing ABDOMINAL muscle development/tone.
Also, by doing SQUATS and DEADLIFTS you are working the largest muscles in your body. Remember, muscle burns 10x more calories than fat, and the more muscle you have the more fat you will burn!
This first principle alone is the MOST important thing to remember. This concept alone will give you amazing results!
2. Incorporate interval training in your workouts. If you are unfamiliar with interval training, it is cardio that incorporates short intervals of sprinting. For example, if you are on the treadmill. You would do a 30minute session. for 5 minutes you jog at 70% of your max heart, for 1 minute you run at 100% of heart rate, repeat this until you reach your 30min goal, or whatever time you set.
Interval training has been shown to produce the highest level of glycolysis in the body, which is our bodies use of sugar for energy. What this does is depletes glycogen stores in the body which ultimately turns the BODY INTO A FAT BURNING FURNACE!
You are setting yourself up for AMAZING results by applying this training technique.
3. Make sure you are properly hydrated(<2L of water/day), incorporate < eat a diet consisting of <70% fruits + vegetables, and stay away from refined carbohydrates, high glycemic carbohydrates, white flour, starches and refined sugar.
It is essentially for proper body function to drink adequates amount of water. Think of your body as a vehicle and water is like the oil to keep the system from ceasing up. When it comes to food I have read alot of diet tips.
From all my findings, the 70% fruit/vege rule seems to work wonders. As long as you provide your body with good adequate amounts of these rich phytonutrients it will function EXCEPTIONALLY WELL. Lastly, avoid the aforementtioned carbs and sugars. These are detrimental to fat burning, muscle building and good health.
By eating these things you are sabotaging your efforts in the gym and negating the positive effects of the healthy foods!
I have shared a lot of useful tips here, and if applied routinely YOU WILL BE SURE TO SEE ASTONISHING RESULTS. It requires discipline and some time to adjust, but you can rest assured you WILL NOT SEE A FASTER WAY TO GET YOU TO YOUR FITNESS GOALS AND BEYOND!
