Omega 3 Fish Oil

Omega 3 benefits your health and is great for anti aging.

Omega 3 sources are found the greatest in fish and seafood, yet many people do not eat enough fish, or do not like it.

Another problem with the fish we eat these days is many types of fish have been found to contain many environmental toxic impurities, such as mercury and pesticides.

It has been discovered that people who live in countries where they regularly consume fish, have higher mercury levels in their bodies than people who don’t eat fish.

Fish oil contains high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

These fatty acids are essential for our health, as they cannot be manufactured by the body, and young people to old should be taking fish oil, as it can help with many health issues.

Fish oil supplements are very popular and I can’t live without them, yet there are some good supplements and some not so good.

Some fish oil supplements have been found to contain the same toxins; therefore it is very important to remember that not all fish oil supplements are created equal.

You need to buy supplements not only high in Omega 3 but molecularly distilled for highest potency without toxicity, this way you are getting all the benefits without the harmful effects of toxins.

You want to make sure the supplements you take have been purified of any toxic substances.

If you have no health problems such as those above, taking fish oil can help prevent them from arising in the future.

You may encounter side effects when first starting fish oil supplements, such as nausea, belching, bad breath and sometimes diarrhea. If you do experience one or more of these symptoms, don’t worry, they should only last a week or two. If they last any longer you may want to consider changing to another brand. You are less likely to experience any problems if you are taking a good quality fish oil supplement.

Make sure the supplement you are taking is put through stringent testing so it is free of contaminants, and the fish is sourced from clean unpolluted waters.

Fish oil supplements should be avoided if you are taking any anticoagulant drugs like Coumadin (warfarin), have had a hemorrhagic stroke, or are scheduled for surgery.
